Job Summary
Our company is seeking for a proactive and experienced **HSE Officer / Safety Officer** to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing health, safety, and environmental policies, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, and promoting a safe working environment across construction sites.
The ideal candidate should have experience in the construction industry and be capable of conducting inspections, preparing safety documentation, and delivering safety training.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and UAE health and safety regulations.
- Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify hazards.
- Prepare and maintain HSE documentation, including:
- Risk Assessments
• Method Statements (RAMS)
- Work Permits
- Safety Reports
- Inspection Checklists
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety inductions for employees and subcontractors.
- Monitor work activities to ensure safe work practices are followed.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Monitor work at height, lifting operations, excavation works, hot works, and confined space activities.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness activities, including first aid and fire safety.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities on HSE matters.
- Maintain records of inspections, training, incidents, and corrective actions.
- Support management in achieving project HSE objectives and KPIs.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum **2–5 years of HSE experience**, preferably in the UAE construction industry.
- Valid UAE HSE certifications such as:
• Fire Warden And Fire Fighting Training (Preferred)
- Good knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and construction safety standards.
- Experience preparing RAMS, permits, and HSE reports.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- UAE Driving License is an advantage.

- Ability to conduct effective safety training and toolbox talks.
- Good report writing and documentation skills.
- Team player with a positive attitude and attention to detail.
