Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified HSE officer to oversee Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental activities within our operations.

The ideal candidate shall have strong knowledge of Abu Dhabi regulatory requirements, management systems, and industry best practices to ensure compliance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and monitor Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, company standards, and HSE requirements.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and prepare detailed reports.
  • Conduct HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and safety training sessions.
  • Maintain HSE records, reports, permits, and documentation.
  • Promote a strong safety culture across the organization.
  • Coordinate emergency preparedness and response activities.

Compliance & Regulatory Requirements

  • Ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi and UAE regulations related to Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities, clients, and third-party auditors as required.
  • Support certification and maintenance of management systems including:
  • ISO 9001 – Quality Management System
  • ISO 14001 – Environmental Management System
  • ISO 45001 – Occupational Health & Safety Management System

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
  • NEBOSH IGC certification (preferred).
  • Minimum 2–3 years of HSE experience in the UAE.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
