Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled and certified **HSE Officer (Offshore)** to ensure a safe working environment on our offshore projects.
The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in offshore safety regulations and a strong commitment to HSE standards.
Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor HSE policies and procedures in compliance with offshore safety regulations (OSHA, OGP, ISO 45001, etc.).
- Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections on offshore rigs/vessels.
- Ensure all personnel adhere to PPE requirements and safe work practices.
- Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents, and provide corrective action reports.
- Deliver HSE training and toolbox talks for offshore crew and contractors.
- Maintain HSE documentation, permits, and emergency response plans.
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, and regulatory bodies on HSE compliance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- **NEBOSH IGC / IOSH / OSHA certification (Offshore specialization preferred).**
- **OPITO-approved certifications (BOSIET, HUET, CA-EBS) are mandatory.**
- Minimum **3-5 years of offshore HSE experience** (oil & gas, marine, or wind energy).
- In-depth knowledge of **offshore safety standards (SIMOPS, PTW, JSA, H2S safety).**
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a high-risk environment under challenging conditions.
- Proficiency in HSE reporting software and MS Office.
