As our HSE Officer, you will be the guardian of our projects sites, ensuring that every activity meets the highest health, safety, and environmental standards.
Your work will directly protect lives, prevent incidents, and foster a culture where safety is second nature to every team member.
What You'll Do
- Conduct daily site inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with HSE regulations and company policies.
- Lead toolbox talks, safety inductions, and training sessions for workers and subcontractors.
- Investigate incidents, prepare detailed reports, and recommend preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate HSE documentation, including risk assessments, permits, and safety statistics.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and external authorities to ensure smooth implementation of safety protocols.
- Promote environmental protection measures, including waste management and pollution prevention.
What You'll Bring
- Diploma or certification in Occupational Health & Safety (NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent).
- Proven experience in construction site safety management.
- Strong knowledge of local HSE legislation and international safety standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence safe behavior on site.
