HSE Officer
About This Role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced HSE Officer to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across our operations. The ideal candidate will have NEBOSH certification and proven experience working in the UAE, with a strong understanding of local safety standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures
- Conduct regular risk assessments, inspections, and safety audits
- Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations and legal requirements
- Identify hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions
- Deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and inductions
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; prepare detailed reports
- Maintain accurate HSE documentation and records
- Coordinate with internal teams and external authorities on safety matters
- Promote a strong safety culture across the organization
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant field
- NEBOSH IGC (International General Certificate) – Mandatory
- Minimum 2–5 years of HSE experience
- Strong knowledge of local HSE laws and regulations (UAE)
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Ability to conduct training and enforce safety compliance
- Proficiency in MS Office
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
