Job Summary
KOREV Construction & General Contracting L.L.C. is seeking a dedicated and experienced **HSE Officer** to join our team for ADNOC projects in Abu Dhabi.
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and enforcing Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with ADNOC standards and UAE regulations.
The ideal candidate must possess strong knowledge of HSE practices, risk assessment procedures, incident investigation, and site safety management within construction, infrastructure, or oil & gas projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and safety programs.
- Ensure compliance with ADNOC HSE requirements, client specifications, and UAE regulations.
- Conduct daily site inspections and safety audits.
- Identify hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Carry out risk assessments and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness campaigns.
- Monitor work permits and ensure compliance with permit-to-work systems.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, near misses, and prepare detailed reports.
- Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Monitor subcontractor and workforce compliance with HSE requirements.
- Maintain HSE records, reports, and documentation.
- Coordinate emergency response drills and safety exercises.
- Promote a positive safety culture across all project activities.
- Liaise with project management, clients, and regulatory authorities on HSE matters.
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum **5+ years of UAE experience** as an HSE Officer.
- Experience working on **ADNOC Projects** is mandatory.
- NEBOSH IGC Certification (Mandatory).
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- Strong knowledge of ADNOC HSE procedures and requirements.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- **Valid UAE Driving License (Preferred).**
- IOSH Managing Safely Certification.
- First Aid Certification.
- Fire Safety Training.
- Experience in construction, infrastructure, road works, or oil & gas projects.
