Overview

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor HSE policies and procedures in accordance with UAE regulations and company standards.
• Conduct daily site inspections and identify potential hazards and unsafe conditions.
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements, permits, and risk assessments.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness training for employees and subcontractors.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports with corrective actions.
• Monitor the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Maintain HSE records, reports, and documentation.
• Coordinate emergency response procedures and conduct emergency drills.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and waste management procedures.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities regarding HSE matters.
• Promote a positive safety culture across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
• **2–5 years of UAE experience as an HSE Officer**, preferably in construction, infrastructure, or MEP projects.
• **NEBOSH IGC certification is mandatory.**
• IOSH Managing Safely certification is preferred.
• Good knowledge of UAE HSE regulations, OSHA standards, and risk assessment procedures.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple site activities.
