Role Overview
Seeking an experienced HSE Officer to support QatarEnergy shutdown activities.
Responsible for ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, & Environmental (HSE) standards and promoting a strong safety culture across the project site.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with QatarEnergy HSE standards and procedures.
- Conduct site inspections and identify potential hazards.
- Enforce PTW requirements and stop unsafe work.
- Prepare HSE reports and review risk assessments, method statements, and JSAs.
- Ensure tools, equipment, and machinery are safe for use.
- Participate in incident investigations and maintain records.
- Promote safety awareness and coordinate safe shutdown activities.
Requirements
- NEBOSH IGC certification is mandatory.
- Minimum 5 years of Oil & Gas experience.
- Minimum 3 years of shutdown experience.
- Mandatory QatarEnergy shutdown experience.
- Good knowledge of PTW, Risk Assessment, JSA, and HSE procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Office and strong reporting and communication skills.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
Compensation
- Pay: From QAR 1.00 per month.
