Manage development and implementation of the Project HSE Management System, including action monitoring and incident reporting.
Support the Project Director or Manager in processes and procedures for achieving HSE objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and report on HSE implementation to maintain Project Owner standards.
- Represent the Project Owner when explaining construction HSE implementation activities to client candidates.
- Review HSE standards at the construction site.
- Open chaired project meetings with a health and safety moment using the dedicated wellbeing app.
- Ensure contractors and vendors have compliant safety training and hazard awareness.
- Promote collaborative safety accountability across the project team and client.
- Set a zero-tolerance health and safety culture.
- Emphasize leading indicators and risk mitigations in HSE assurance.
- Supervise site work proactively to address safety concerns and risks.
Qualifications
- Degree in HSE, civil engineering, electrical or mechanical engineering, or a similar function.
- At least 10 years of HSE project experience.
- Experience with HSE project management concepts, tools, and techniques.
- Ability to coordinate concurrent base building works.
- Competence with Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Project.
- Able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and contribute proactively as part of a team.
- Professional project management knowledge and awareness of current developments and trends.
- Able to use applicable information technology and systems.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Data center experience is required.
