Job Description

  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to assess compliance with HSE regulations and company policies.
  • Identify potential hazards and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented.
  • Monitor project activities to ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Review and evaluate safety plans and risk assessments for various projects.
  • Provide HSE training and awareness sessions to staff and subcontractors, promoting a strong safety culture.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and recommend preventive measures.
  • Prepare detailed reports on findings, corrective actions, and HSE performance metrics.
  • Liaise with regulatory agencies and ensure all necessary permits and licenses are obtained and maintained.
  • Stay updated on changes in HSE legislation and implement necessary adjustments to company policies.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of risk management strategies for projects.
  • Support the creation and execution of emergency response plans, including conducting drills and training exercises.
  • Collaborate with project managers and team leaders to integrate HSE practices into all aspects of operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (construction, civil, or related field).
  • Relevant HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HSE roles within building, road, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of local Saudi Arabian and international HSE regulations and standards.
