HSE Inspector

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and safety programs.
• Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations, Dubai Municipality requirements, and company standards.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Review and approve method statements, risk assessments, and permit-to-work systems.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports with corrective measures.
• Coordinate emergency response plans and conduct safety drills.
• Conduct HSE training, toolbox talks, and safety awareness programs for site personnel.
• Monitor contractor and subcontractor compliance with HSE requirements.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly HSE reports and maintain accurate documentation.
• Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement across projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of HSE experience in construction, engineering consultancy, or infrastructure projects within the UAE/GCC.
• NEBOSH IGC certification is mandatory; additional IOSH or OSHA certifications are preferred.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction safety regulations and international HSE standards.
• Experience in preparing risk assessments, HSE plans, and incident investigations.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and HSE reporting systems.
• Valid UAE driving license preferred.
