Job Summary
The HSE Inspector is responsible for monitoring and enforcing health, safety, and environmental standards on high-rise tower construction projects.
The role ensures compliance with company HSE policies, UAE regulations, and project safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify unsafe conditions/practices.
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and local regulations.
- Monitor work activities including work at height, lifting operations, scaffolding, excavation, and hot works.
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety inductions for workers and staff.
- Prepare safety reports, inspection records, and incident documentation.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses.
- Ensure proper use of PPE by all site personnel.
- Coordinate with construction teams to implement corrective actions.
- Monitor subcontractor compliance with HSE requirements.
- Assist in preparing risk assessments and method statements.
- Participate in emergency drills and safety campaigns.
- Maintain HSE documentation and statutory records.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Safety or related field.
- NEBOSH/IOSH certification mandatory.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in main contracting companies.
- Strong experience in high-rise tower construction projects.
- Knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and international safety standards.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to conduct inspections and enforce safety compliance on site.
