HSE Engineer

• About the Job (Immediate available candidates only)
• We are looking for an experienced NEBOSH qualified HSE engineer with proven track record of managing large scale of construction projects, required to develop, implement and oversee all aspects of Health, Safety, and Environmental programs across all Green stone landscaping projects.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures in compliance with local regulations and company standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance with HSE requirements.
• Prepare and review risk assessments, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Method Statements, and Safe Work Procedures.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure safe work practices are followed at all times.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and prepare detailed reports with corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct HSE induction training for new employees, subcontractors, and visitors.
• Organize and deliver toolbox talks, safety meetings, and awareness programs to promote a strong safety culture.
• Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and enforce site safety regulations.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness plans, evacuation drills, and first-aid arrangements on site.
• Monitor work permits and ensure compliance with Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems for high-risk activities.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities on HSE matters.
• Maintain accurate HSE records, reports, statistics, and documentation.
• Monitor environmental aspects of construction activities and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
• Ensure all lifting operations, excavation works, work at height, confined space entries, and other critical activities are conducted safely.
• Follow up on corrective actions arising from inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
• Support management in achieving project HSE objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Conduct regular safety performance evaluations and prepare monthly HSE reports.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and other applicable safety management systems where required.
