To strengthen our leadership team in Doha, we are seeking an experienced **HSE Director** to oversee health, safety, and environmental strategies across all operations.
Role Overview
The **HSE Director** will be responsible for developing and implementing HSE policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and fostering a culture of safety throughout the organization.
This senior leadership role requires strategic vision, technical expertise, and the ability to influence and inspire teams at all levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive HSE strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with local, regional, and international safety regulations.
- Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
- Oversee risk assessments, audits, and safety inspections.
- Collaborate with project directors and managers to integrate HSE practices into operations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in safety performance and environmental sustainability.
- Provide training, mentorship, and guidance to HSE teams and employees.
- Report regularly to senior leadership on HSE performance and key metrics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 12–15 years of experience in HSE management, with at least 5 years in a director-level role.
- Proven track record of leading HSE programs in construction, oil & gas, or industrial sectors.
- Strong knowledge of international HSE standards (ISO, OSHA, NEBOSH, etc.).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.
