Overview
Qiddiya Investment Company is looking for a dedicated HS&E Manager to oversee health, safety, and environmental management within our projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and promoting a safe working environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing HS&E policies, conducting risk assessments, and leading initiatives to maintain high standards of safety and environmental stewardship throughout the project lifecycle.
The HS&E Manager will work closely with various teams to foster a proactive safety culture, reduce workplace incidents, and ensure environmental sustainability aligned with Qiddiya’s values and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain HS&E policies and procedures in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and ensure appropriate controls are in place.
- Lead investigations into accidents and incidents, facilitating corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate and deliver HS&E training programs to enhance awareness and competency of employees and contractors.
- Monitor HS&E performance indicators and prepare regular reports for management review.
- Ensure compliance with all environmental regulations and promote sustainable practices within project activities.
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate HS&E considerations into planning and execution phases.
- Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility across all levels of the organization.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in HS&E management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in HS&E management within construction, infrastructure, or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
- Proven experience in risk assessment, incident investigation, and implementation of HS&E programs.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of driving safety culture effectively.
- Certified safety professional credentials such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent are preferred.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
