Overview
- Recruitment & Placement: Responsible for recruiting local and overseas employees in Dubai. Proficient in using mainstream local recruitment channels (e.g., LinkedIn, Bayt, GulfTalent) to manage the entire process from resume screening and interviewing to issuing offer letters.
- Onboarding, Offboarding & Visa Management: Lead the onboarding process for expatriate employees, including UAE residence visa applications, labor card processing, medical fitness test registration, and Emirates ID follow-up. Handle exit interviews and ensure compliant offboarding procedures such as contract termination and visa cancellation.
- Compensation, Benefits & Attendance (WPS): Responsible for monthly attendance calculation and leave management. Proficiently operate the UAE Wage Protection System (WPS) to ensure salaries are paid on time and in compliance with regulations. Assist employees with medical insurance claims and other statutory benefits.
- Employee Relations & Compliance: Answer employee inquiries regarding UAE labor law, properly handle employee grievances and labor disputes to mitigate employment risks. Maintain and update employee personnel records to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Training & Culture Implementation: Organize new employee orientation to promote company culture and rules. Plan and organize team-building activities to foster integration and cohesion within the multicultural team.
- Administrative & Reporting Support: Regularly provide monthly HR reports to management (including recruitment progress, turnover rate, labor costs, etc.) and assist in completing other cross-departmental administrative tasks assigned by superiors.
Skills
- Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of HR work experience; candidates with practical local HR experience in the UAE are preferred.
- Regulations & System Knowledge: Familiar with UAE labor law and related employment policies, proficient in the expatriate visa application process. Proficient in operating the WPS and common Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).
- Language Skills: Excellent command of English (spoken and written) as the daily working language, capable of seamless cross-cultural communication. Proficiency in Arabic or Chinese is a strong plus.
- Comprehensive Qualities: Excellent organizational and coordination skills, ability to work under pressure, and a strong sense of confidentiality. Detail-oriented and able to independently resolve complex employee relations issues.
- Office Software: Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel for data processing and PowerPoint for report writing).
