Job Summary
New Moon High School is seeking a professional and detail-oriented HR Specialist to support human resources operations, employee relations, recruitment activities, and HR administration across the school.
This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy working with people, supporting employee development, and ensuring smooth HR processes within an educational environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in recruitment coordination, employee records management, onboarding activities, and HR compliance initiatives.
We are looking for a proactive and organized individual with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for supporting both employees and organizational success.
What You'Ll Do
- Support recruitment activities including job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination
- Assist with onboarding and orientation programs for new employees
- Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and personnel files
- Coordinate employee relations activities and respond to HR-related inquiries
- Support attendance tracking, leave administration, and employee data management
- Assist with performance management and employee development initiatives
- Prepare HR reports, workforce summaries, and administrative documentation
- Ensure compliance with company policies and HR procedures
- Coordinate training schedules and employee engagement activities
- Support payroll-related administrative processes and employee record updates
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information and HR documentation
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to HR operations and employee experience
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in human resources, recruitment, HR administration, employee relations, or related roles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and administrative abilities
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidential information
- Knowledge of HR practices, recruitment processes, and employee relations principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience with HRIS platforms, applicant tracking systems, or HR software is an advantage
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Education, or a related field preferred
