HR Operations & Admin Senior Analyst

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Assist with new employee orientations and ensure personnel files and legal documents are complete.
• Perform HR transactions in SAP SuccessFactors and other HCM modules across the employee lifecycle.
• Assist with document audits, scanning, and uploading records for audit or HR requests.
• Answer basic policy, leave, employee-document, and other transactional inquiries.
• Process transactions under established guidelines and respond to calls, emails, and tickets.
• Complete work within turnaround times, adapt to process and technology changes, and maintain employee data.
• Coordinate new-hire and employee-status updates, audit and correct records, and prepare standard reports.
• Research questions and escalate complex issues to senior team members or leadership.

Qualifications

• Typically requires 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of HR processes, programs, policies, and Canadian employment legislation.
• Strong accuracy, attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently and with a team.
• Proficient English communication and experience handling confidential information with tact and diplomacy.
• Intermediate MS Office proficiency, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Filing and inventory experience, union-based experience, and an HR certification or diploma are preferred.
