Role overview
HR Officer joining a growing People function at an established consumer brand.
Own day-to-day HR operations and serve as a key contact for managers and employees.
Generalist role covering employee lifecycle administration, employee relations support and recruitment coordination.
Responsibilities
- Manage onboarding, contract changes, employee records and leavers.
- Advise on HR policies and procedures, escalating complex matters where appropriate.
- Support employee relations casework, documentation, investigations and meeting coordination.
- Coordinate recruitment and onboarding for a range of roles.
- Maintain accurate, GDPR-compliant employee records and HR documentation.
- Support benefits administration, health and safety coordination and policy reviews.
- Assist with HR projects and continuous improvement.
About you
- CIPD Level 3 qualified or equivalent practical experience in a generalist HR environment.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
- Experience managing employee lifecycle processes and supporting employee relations matters.
- Organised, proactive and able to work independently across a varied workload.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable using Microsoft 365; BrightHR or similar HR systems experience is beneficial.
