Overview

HR Manager / Senior HR Officer (Construction Industry)

Industry: Construction

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager / Senior HR Officer to join our growing construction team in the UAE.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of HR experience within the UAE.
  • Mandatory experience in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law, MOHRE regulations, and employment procedures.
  • Proven experience in recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary procedures.
  • Experience handling payroll coordination, leave management, end-of-service settlements, and HR documentation.
  • Experience with visa processing, labour contracts, Emirates ID, medical insurance, and government portals.
  • Ability to develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • HR certifications (CIPD, SHRM, PHR, or equivalent) will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full employee lifecycle from recruitment to separation.
  • Lead recruitment activities for technical, engineering, and administrative positions.
  • Ensure full compliance with UAE Labour Law and company policies.
  • Oversee employee relations, grievance handling, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
  • Coordinate payroll, attendance, leave records, and end-of-service benefits.
  • Manage visa processing, labour contracts, and all HR-related government procedures.
  • Maintain employee records and HR reports with complete accuracy.
  • Support management with manpower planning and organizational development.
  • Develop HR policies, procedures, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Work closely with department managers to support business objectives.
