Role Description
The HR Manager role at Mercado Egypt for E-commerce Services is a part-time, hybrid position based in Dubai, allowing a combination of on-site and work-from-home arrangements.
The HR Manager will oversee the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding, aligning HR practices with company strategy and culture.
Daily tasks include managing job postings, screening and interviewing candidates, preparing employment offers, and maintaining accurate HR records and HRIS data.
The role also involves developing and updating HR policies and procedures, supporting compensation and benefits processes, coordinating learning and development initiatives, and ensuring compliance with local labor laws and company governance standards.
The HR Manager will serve as a trusted partner to leadership and team members, handling employee relations, supporting engagement initiatives, and contributing to an inclusive, high-performance workplace.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in core HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
- Ability to develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures, with strong knowledge of labor law and regulatory compliance in the UAE and broader MENA region.
- Proficiency in HRIS or HR management systems, with solid skills in data management, reporting, and documentation.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to build trust and collaborate across diverse teams.
- Experience supporting organizational development, employee engagement, and learning and development initiatives.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a hybrid setup, manage time and priorities independently, and support a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant HR certifications (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) are an advantage.
- Experience in technology, e-commerce, or investment environments in the MENA region is preferred.
