Role Description

This is a part-time hybrid HR Manager role based in Abu Dhabi, with a mix of on-site work at Êxito Supermercados and some work-from-home flexibility.

The HR Manager will oversee day-to-day HR operations, including managing employee life cycle processes such as recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, and offboarding.

The role will support store and office leadership with workforce planning, scheduling, and staffing to ensure adequate coverage and compliance with labor regulations.

The HR Manager will handle employee relations matters, conduct investigations when needed, and provide guidance on policies, procedures, and workplace standards.

Responsibilities

also include maintaining accurate HR records, preparing reports for management, coordinating training and development initiatives, and supporting change management and engagement activities across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in core HR management, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Knowledge of HR policies, labor law, and compliance requirements in the UAE, preferably with experience in retail, FMCG, or supermarket environments.
  • Strong skills in HR administration, including HRIS use, data management, documentation, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in communication, conflict resolution, coaching, and delivering clear guidance to team members at all levels.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize in a fast-paced setting while maintaining confidentiality and sound judgment.
  • Experience designing or coordinating training, onboarding programs, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (HR certifications such as SHRM, CIPD, or equivalent are an advantage).
  • Comfort working in a hybrid model, with a consistent presence on-site in Abu Dhabi as required by business needs.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic or other languages is an added benefit.
