Key Responsibilities
- Operate HR hook and flatbed trucks to collect and exchange scrap metal bins across a variety of customer sites. Build relationships with customers through professional and reliable service. Keep our operations moving by completing scheduled collections safely and efficiently. Identify and report any safety, environmental or operational issues on site. Work as part of a supportive team committed to maintaining the highest safety and compliance standards Follow daily run sheets and collection schedules to ensure timely service delivery. Conduct pre-start vehicle inspections and maintain vehicles in a safe operating condition. About You Current HR Licence with experience operating hook trucks, flatbeds or similar heavy vehicles. A safety-first mindset and strong understanding of safe work practices. Great communication skills and a customer-focused approach. The ability to work autonomously, manage your time effectively and adapt to changing priorities. A positive attitude and willingness to be part of a hardworking team. Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing.
