We’re Hiring: HR Director (PR & Marketing Agency Experience Required)
We are looking for an experienced HR Director to lead and elevate the people function within a fast-growing, government-aligned communications group operating across PR, media, and strategic advisory.
This is not a traditional HR role — we are looking for someone who understands the pace, pressure, and structure of PR & marketing agencies, and can build a high-performance culture aligned with business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full HR function across multiple departments (Editorial, Media Relations, AI, Business Development, Admin)
- Build and enforce performance-driven HR systems (KPIs, timesheets, accountability frameworks)
- Oversee recruitment strategy, especially for senior hires within PR, media, and communications
- Design and implement organizational structures aligned with business growth
- Manage employee relations with a firm, fair, and business-oriented approach
- Partner closely with leadership on workforce planning and strategic decisions
- Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and internal governance standards
- Drive culture focused on speed, ownership, and delivery
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- MUST have experience in PR agencies, marketing agencies, or media organizations
- Strong understanding of agency workflows, client servicing environments, and fast turnaround operations
- Proven track record in building HR systems from scratch or restructuring teams
- Experience working with government entities or high-profile clients is a strong plus
- Strong personality — able to enforce discipline, not just manage HR processes
