Role Description
This full-time, on-site Writer role is based in Rawalpindi and supports UBL’s internal and external communication needs.
The Writer will develop clear, accurate, and engaging content for marketing materials, corporate communications, digital platforms, and customer-facing documents.
Daily responsibilities include researching topics, drafting and revising copy, aligning content with brand guidelines, and collaborating with marketing, product, and compliance teams to ensure consistency and accuracy.
The role involves adapting complex financial information into accessible language, proofreading and editing existing content, and meeting deadlines for campaigns and projects.
The Writer will also contribute ideas to enhance UBL’s brand voice and support initiatives that strengthen stakeholder and customer engagement.
Qualifications
- Ability to produce clear, accurate, and engaging written content across multiple formats (e.g., articles, web copy, marketing collateral).
- Strong research skills to gather, verify, and synthesize information, especially related to banking, finance, and digital services.
- Proficiency in proofreading and editing to ensure high standards of grammar, style, and consistency.
- Experience tailoring content for different audiences, including customers, internal stakeholders, and regulators.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English; proficiency in Urdu is an advantage.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field; relevant writing experience in financial services is a plus.
- Familiarity with digital platforms, basic content management systems, and an understanding of brand and compliance requirements.
