Role Description

The HR Assistant is a full-time remote role responsible for supporting daily human resources operations and administrative tasks.

This position involves maintaining employee records, updating HR databases and HRIS systems, and assisting with recruitment processes such as posting job ads, screening applications, and scheduling interviews.

The HR Assistant will help coordinate onboarding, training activities, and benefits administration, while responding to employee inquiries and ensuring compliance with company policies.

The role also includes preparing HR documents and reports, supporting HR projects, and collaborating with management to improve HR workflows.

The HR Assistant works closely with various internal stakeholders to foster a positive and efficient work environment.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess skills in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management to support daily HR operations and employee lifecycle processes.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) to maintain accurate employee data and generate HR reports.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Benefits Administration to assist with enrollment, changes, and employee communication regarding benefits programs.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Training to help organize onboarding, learning activities, and support continuous development initiatives.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in French is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Previous experience in an HR support role and a relevant degree or certification in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
