Role overview

Workplace

• Hybrid role requiring an average of two days per week at an HPE office.

Responsibilities

• Drive business development for HPE POD and modular data center solutions across targeted industries, including AI, education, research, and enterprise.
• Identify, qualify, and develop opportunities for AI factory infrastructure, HPC clusters, GPU environments, and edge data centers.
• Engage customers to understand technical, operational, and business requirements and translate them into POD-based solutions.
• Work with account teams, solution architects, and partners on proposals covering infrastructure architecture, modular facility design, and lifecycle services.
• Advise customer executives, infrastructure teams, and decision makers on data center architecture, capacity scaling, and AI-ready infrastructure.
• Coordinate engineering, supply chain, manufacturing partners, and delivery teams to ensure solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned with customer timelines.
• Lead or support major proposals and RFP responses, including technical positioning, commercial structuring, and value articulation.
• Support detailed solution architectures, including modular data center configurations and air or liquid cooling strategies.
• Develop relationships with cooling technology providers, modular construction manufacturers, and infrastructure integrators.
• Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to influence the HPE POD portfolio.
• Represent HPE in customer engagements, industry forums, and conferences related to modular infrastructure and HPC data centers.
• Drive pipeline growth, revenue generation, customer satisfaction, and long-term strategic partnerships for the HPE POD portfolio.

Education and experience

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related technical field, or equivalent industry experience.
• Typically 6+ years of professional experience in data center infrastructure, HPC environments, modular infrastructure, or enterprise technology solutions.
• Experience in business development, solution sales, or infrastructure consulting within enterprise IT, cloud, or data center industries.
• Experience engaging senior technical and executive stakeholders on infrastructure strategy and large-scale technology investments.
• Experience supporting complex infrastructure deals involving multiple stakeholders, partners, and delivery organizations.

Knowledge and skills

• Strong understanding of modular data centers, containerized infrastructure, high-density GPU and HPC environments, liquid cooling, AI infrastructure, and enterprise or hyperscale data center operations.
• Ability to translate complex infrastructure concepts into business value and strategic customer outcomes.
• Strong commercial acumen, including structuring large infrastructure deals and navigating enterprise procurement processes.
• Experience across compute, networking, storage, cooling systems, and facility infrastructure.
• Ability to develop scalable solutions that improve performance, efficiency, and deployment time for AI and HPC workloads.
