Role overview
A Lead HPC Engineer role supporting a global hyperscaler's expanding AI digital infrastructure footprint in Abu Dhabi.
Architects, optimizes, and scales ultra-low-latency custom hardware clusters for AI, machine-learning, and scientific workloads.
Cluster and network engineering
- Architect, deploy, optimize, and scale large GPU and accelerator clusters for enterprise AI training.
- Optimize low-latency fabrics using RoCEv2, RDMA, and custom network topologies.
Storage, systems, and automation
- Tune parallel file systems, including Lustre and GPFS, and Linux kernel stacks for maximum throughput.
- Drive automation across Slurm, Kubernetes, Python, and C/C++ environments.
Experience and expertise
- At least 5 years in HPC, hyperscale infrastructure, or supercomputing environments.
- Deep expertise in low-latency networking, parallel storage, and workload managers.
- Strong background in performance profiling, hardware optimization, and automation.
