Responsibilities
- Clean assigned suites, inspect rooms before guest entry, and maintain guest supplies and amenities.
- Supervise housekeeping staff and cover Executive Housekeeper duties during their absence.
- Maintain equipment, carts, and storage areas; follow cleaning instructions and adjust temperatures in unoccupied suites.
- Report hazards and defects, follow fire safety procedures, and coordinate with maintenance.
- Assist with staff training, guest requests, meetings, and special cleaning projects.
Requirements
- Cleaning experience is required; related housekeeping, laundry, or cleaning experience is an asset, and hotel cleaning experience is preferred.
- Must regularly lift 20 pounds and have physical mobility and stamina.
- Must be reliable, flexible with scheduling, attentive to detail, able to multitask, and able to follow instructions and work with others.
- Familiarity with WHMIS, health and safety, and emergency protocols is required.
- Professional, friendly guest service and communication are expected.
Schedule
- Schedule may include days, evenings, and weekends.
Compensation
- Expected wage is $19.10 to $20.16 per hour.
