Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Housekeeping Attendant to join our housekeeping team.
This position is open to applicants from all backgrounds and is gender neutral.
The role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic and a commitment to maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our guests and staff.
Key responsibilities
- for Housekeeping Attendant
- Clean and tidy guest rooms, corridors and public areas to company standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, polishing and replenishing amenities.
- Clean and sanitise bathrooms, replace toiletries and ensure high standards of hygiene are maintained at all times.
- Change bed linen and towels according to procedures, handling soiled linen safely and delivering cleaned linen to appropriate areas.
- Report any maintenance issues, damage or missing items promptly to the supervisor and follow up as required.
- Adhere to cleaning schedules and checklists, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently within allocated timeframes.
- Ensure lost property is handled and logged according to company policy.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and trolleys in good working order; report faults and request replacements when necessary.
- Assist with laundry duties when required, including sorting, loading machines and folding linen following hygiene procedures.
- Provide courteous and professional service to guests and colleagues, responding to reasonable requests and maintaining guest privacy and confidentiality.
- Follow health and safety policies, use personal protective equipment where required and report any hazards or incidents immediately.
