Role Description
The Housekeeping Attendant is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and order throughout assigned areas.
Daily tasks include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing floors, surfaces, restrooms, corridors, and common areas in line with company standards.
The role involves handling laundry duties such as collecting, washing, drying, folding, and storing linens and uniforms.
The Housekeeping Attendant replenishes supplies (e.g., toiletries, towels, cleaning products), reports maintenance issues or safety hazards, and follows health, safety, and environmental guidelines at all times.
The position also includes responding courteously to occupant or guest requests, supporting colleagues as needed, and participating in training to maintain consistent service quality.
Qualifications
- Strong organization skills to manage cleaning schedules, prioritize tasks, and maintain orderly storage of supplies and equipment.
- Effective communication and customer service skills to interact professionally with occupants, guests, and team members.
- Proficiency in basic laundry operations, including sorting, washing, drying, ironing, and proper handling of linens and garments.
- Willingness to participate in training and follow established housekeeping procedures, safety standards, and quality guidelines.
- Previous experience in housekeeping, facilities cleaning, or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift moderate weights for extended periods, with attention to safe work practices.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts, including weekends or holidays as required by building operations.
- Basic understanding of hygiene, sanitization, and safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
