Role overview
Oversee maintenance and upkeep of a residence, coordinating maintenance activities, contractors, and service providers to keep property systems and facilities functioning efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily residence and facility maintenance; inspect the property and ensure electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general infrastructure function properly.
- Source and coordinate contractors and service providers, obtain quotes, schedule work, and supervise timely completion to required standards.
- Plan routine and preventive maintenance; keep records of maintenance work, vendors, warranties, and service agreements.
- Ensure safety and operational compliance; review quotes, recommend cost-effective solutions, and monitor expenses against budget.
- Respond to maintenance issues and emergencies, coordinate urgent repairs, and minimize household disruption.
- Maintain vendor relationships and ensure quality, safety, and professional standards.
Requirements
- Diploma or certification in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related technical field.
- 3–5 years of property, villa, or facilities maintenance experience.
- Experience managing contractors, vendors, and maintenance schedules.
- Good understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general property maintenance.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; good English communication skills.
Preferred experience
- Experience in private residences, luxury villas, or estates is preferred.
- Familiarity with maintenance management and contractor supervision is preferred.
Compensation
- Full-time, permanent position paying AED 4,000–4,500 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is in person.
