Will the position be subject to the CBC policy?

• (Primary Duty) Assist ECU students, faculty and staff with technology-related issues. These issues include, but are not limited to printing support, onboarding personal devices to the campus’ Wi-Fi network, and assistance with basic software and hardware questions.
• Processing and printing poster requests.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Candidates must have good communication skills. This position requires effective and clear communication with department staff as well as ECU students, faculty, and staff who use the library.
• Familiarity with technology, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and basic printing knowledge.
• Candidates must be able to maintain an organized shared work environment.
• Candidates must be in good academic standing with East Carolina University.

Eligibility for Employment

Individuals submitting profiles for these positions must be current ECU students, in good-standing and meet the respective GPA requirement as required by the position type.

Final candidates may be subject to criminal & sex offender background checks based upon the duties and responsibilities of the position.

Some vacancies also require motor vehicle checks.
