Overview
A Hotel IT Support Technician ensures the smooth operation of hotel technology systems, including POS systems and Wi-Fi, supporting both staff and guest needs.
Responsibilities
include troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing user accounts, maintaining network infrastructure, ensuring data security, and coordinating with vendors.
& Duties
Provide 24/7 emergency technical support to hotel staff and guests, resolving hardware, software, and networking issues.
Monitor and maintain hotel systems, including POS (Point of Sale), PBX (telephony), and guest internet services.
Install and configure computers, printers and Pos Printers, IP telephones, key lock systems, and network equipment (routers and switches).
Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with security policies.
Coordinate with external vendors for system maintenance, quotations, repairs, Wifi Related issues.
Create and remove user accounts in Active Directory and assign permissions to network/shared folders.
Manage Microsoft 365 services, including email account creation and SharePoint access based on requests.
Install Microsoft 365 applications and antivirus software (Sophos) on user PCs.
Provide technical support for both onsite and offsite users.
Maintain and monitor HSC and OpenScape Business license renewals.
Manage and monitor call posting systems and call monitoring PCs.
Monitor and manage network performance, identifying and resolving connectivity issues for Both users and Guests.
Collaborate with network administrators to optimize network efficiency.
Coordinate with vendors such as Samsotech (VICAS) and PMS providers.
Troubleshoot TV channel issues and manage channel additions using Triax systems and LG Pro: Centric; escalate complex issues to vendors when required.
Install, configure, and upload advertisements (images/videos) to digital display systems (Hikvision).
Provide technical support for CCTV\\ANPR systems and coordinate with relevant vendors.
Assist in the procurement of IT equipment and software, ensuring compatibility and cost-effectiveness.
Collaborate with vendors to obtain necessary support and other services.
Communicate technical information to non-technical end-users in a clear and understandable manner
Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
