Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Assign daily work orders, schedule staff shifts, and train maintenance technicians.
- Facility Maintenance: Oversee repairs for heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, electrical, and kitchen equipment.
- Preventative Programs: Run routine checks on life safety systems, emergency generators, and pool equipment. You can review standard protocols via Marriott Careers.
- Inspections: Audit guest rooms, public zones, and back-of-house facilities to catch defects early.
- Vendor Coordination: Supervise third-party contractors and manage spare parts inventory.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of hands-on facility maintenance or lead technician work, ideally within hospitality.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of HVAC, mechanical, and life-safety systems.
- Skills: Good problem-solving abilities, basic computer proficiency for work-order tracking, and clear communication skills.
- Physical Needs: Ability to lift heavy gear, climb ladders, and work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays as needed.
Compensation
- $20 - $20.50 hourly
