Welcome guests, determine party size, and seat them at clean, available tables.
Guide guests through dining rooms and provide assistance as needed.
Guest and dining-room service
- Arrange tables, chairs, and settings, including seating for groups with special needs.
- Ensure place settings include clean menus, napkins, silverware, and other standard items.
- Check menus to ensure they are current, clean, plentiful, and wrinkle-free.
- Maintain clean work areas throughout the day using clean-as-you-go practices.
- Monitor dining-room seating availability, service, safety, and guest well-being.
Standards and teamwork
- Follow company, safety, and security policies; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions, and complete required safety training.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance, protect confidential information and company assets, and meet quality standards.
- Welcome and acknowledge guests, communicate professionally, answer telephones appropriately, and support positive team relationships.
- Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.
Preferred qualifications and physical requirements
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
- No related work experience or supervisory experience is required; no license or certification is required.
- The role involves standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods and handling objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
Schedule and workplace
- The position is full time and is not remote.
- The role is based at the Wet Deck location in Dubai.
