Position Summary

Welcome and seat guests, assist them in the dining rooms, and maintain orderly, clean service areas.

Monitor dining-room seating, service, safety, and guest well-being.

Guest Service and Dining Room Duties

  • Determine party size, seat guests at clean available tables, and guide them through the dining rooms.
  • Arrange furniture and seating, including for groups with special needs.
  • Prepare appropriate place settings and check menus for cleanliness and currency.
  • Maintain clean work areas and monitor dining-room service and guest needs.

Work Standards and Physical Duties

  • Follow company safety and security procedures, report incidents and unsafe conditions, and complete safety training and certifications.
  • Maintain a professional appearance, protect confidential information and company assets, and communicate courteously with guests and colleagues.
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and move objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
  • High school diploma or GED is preferred; no related work or supervisory experience is listed as needed.
