HOST RESPITE WORKER

Purpose

Essential Responsibilities

• , include but are not limited to:
• Monitor and assist residents with personal grooming and appearance as necessary.
• Transport and accompany residents to appointments and other services, including day program sites, as needed.
• Supervise and assist residents in taking their medication in accordance with program guidelines.
• Assist Caregivers with vacation days, but caring for the individual/ or individuals inside of homes.
• Assist individuals to and forth social activities, and other meetings and appointments.
• Respond to medical and behavioral emergencies following appropriate Health and Safety, Aggression Management, First Aid, CPR, and other procedures as necessary.
• Plan menus and assist with meal preparation as required. Monitor and observe residents with special dietary needs.
• Work a flexible schedule with the following availability:

EDUCATION, SKILLS, and/or EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma/GED (Proof is required prior to start date) Candidates who attended correspondence school please note that only American School of Correspondence is accepted.
• Valid Drivers License
• Pass a full criminal background check.
• Must be able to work independently.
