Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests as they arrive, providing a warm welcome and assisting with seating arrangements.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the restaurant's layout, table availability, and seating capacity.
- Manage reservations, including recording bookings, updating availability, and confirming reservations as needed.
- Monitor dining room activity to anticipate guest needs and ensure a seamless dining experience.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, striving to resolve issues to the guest's satisfaction.
- Train and supervise hosting and serving staff, providing guidance on service standards, etiquette, and guest interaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the front-of-house area, including the reception area, dining room, and restrooms.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies for enhancing the guest experience and maximizing revenue.
- Uphold high standards of professionalism, hospitality, and guest service at all times.

- Searcys are looking for a Barista to join the team at Osteria Locatelli at the National Gallery.
- The Host/Hostess will ensure the smooth operation of the front-of-house reception at Osteria Locatelli at the National Gallery. The role will be overseeing the reception, seating, and overall guest experience.
- The role will be based in the newly refurbished Sainsburys wing at The National Gallery, and Searcys are proud to be working in collaboration with the World Famous, Michelin starred Chef Georgio Locatelli on this project.

Qualifications
- Previous experience within the hospitality industry, preferably in fine dining or upscale restaurants.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, staff, and management.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in reservation management software and basic computer skills.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service procedures, including wine service and menu presentation.
- A professional demeanor and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
