Home Infusion Nurse
Full Job Posting
See your work in a new light.
At LUX Infusion, we’re reimagining infusion care to be more human, supportive, and connected. Inspired by lux —meaning light - we guide patients, providers, and partners through complex therapies with clarity, compassion, and confidence.
As a clinician-led, U.S.-based organization, we put people first - helping patients feel seen and supported through faster therapy starts, dedicated care coordination, and meaningful collaboration. Our commitment to inclusion, diversity, equity, and advancement (IDEA) is central to our culture, ensuring every team member feels valued and empowered to make a difference.
We’re looking to connect with Per Diem Home Infusion Nurses who want their work to mean something — Registered Nurses who bring clinical expertise, independence, and compassion to every visit.
Why This Role Matters
Home infusion nursing requires skill, judgment, and trust. As a Per Diem Home Infusion Nurse at LUX Infusion, you are often the primary clinical presence in a patient’s care — delivering therapy, education, and reassurance.
In this role, you’ll contribute to work that:
Helps patients receive infusion therapies safely at home or in infusion suites
Supports continuity of care outside traditional clinical settings
Builds confidence for patients and caregivers through clear education and calm communication
Advances a patient‐first, clinician‐led approach to infusion care
Your work ensures patients can continue treatment with dignity, safety, and peace of mind.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will:
Administer, monitor, and discontinue intravenous therapies in patient homes or infusion suite settings
Insert and manage IV access including peripheral lines, PICC lines, ports, and midlines
Monitor patients throughout infusion therapy, recognizing and responding to adverse reactions or changes in condition
Perform venipuncture and collect blood samples as ordered
Complete patient assessments, vital signs, and reviews of systems during each visit
Provide individualized education to patients and caregivers on infusion therapy, line care, and symptom monitoring
Coordinate visit schedules, staffing needs, and communication with internal teams and external partners
Accurately document all patient‐related care, medications administered, and patient responses
Communicate clinical concerns or reportable events promptly to physicians and internal clinical leadership
Uphold all confidentiality, compliance, and ethical standards in accordance with state and federal regulations
What We’re Looking For
You may be a great fit if you bring:
Strong clinical judgment and confidence working independently in home‐based environments
Clear, compassionate communication with patients and caregivers
Comfort managing IV therapy outside acute care settings
Strong organization, flexibility, and attention to detail
A patient‐centered mindset grounded in empathy and professionalism
Required Qualifications
- Nursing degree from an accredited college or university
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida
- Minimum of two (2) years of RN experience
- IV certification with experience in central line care and management
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within service territory
- CPR certification
- Experience with clinical documentation and care coordination
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and clinical systems
- Willingness to travel to patient homes and healthcare facilities
- Strong clinical judgment and confidence working independently in home‐based environments
- Clear, compassionate communication with patients and caregivers
- Comfort managing IV therapy outside acute care settings
- Strong organization, flexibility, and attention to detail
- A patient‐centered mindset grounded in empathy and professionalism
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing
- RN licensure in additional states
- Prior experience in home infusion, home care, critical care, emergency nursing, ambulatory infusion centers, or discharge planning
- Experience with PICC, port, or midline access and certification
- You don’t need to check every box — we care just as much about how you care for patients as your background.
- Why LUX Infusion
- At LUX Infusion, we believe care deserves more light — more warmth, more clarity, and more connection.
- Purpose‐driven nursing work with direct patient impact
- Flexibility through per‐diem and part‐time opportunities
- A patient‐first, clinician‐led culture

- Meaningful one‐on‐one patient relationships
- Join our network of infusion nurses and help deliver care where it matters most — and see what’s possible when care comes first.
- Pay Range/Rate
- $48 — $50 USD
