Award rate $41.08 per hour + Super + Paid KM's + Uniform & Company Phone

Can build positive relationships with clients and their families.

Care about assisting our aged community members to live independently at home for longer.

Don’t sweat the small stuff. Sometimes your client will be having a bad day or traffic delays you, but you know not to take this personally and can shake it off before your next client.

Are comfortable working independently and finding solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask your manager for help.

In addition, you will need:

A valid Australian Driver's Licence & your own insured, roadworthy vehicle

An interest in community care or aged care (3 - 6 months previous experience in a similar role).

In the role of Care Worker you will be providing our aged care clients with home help services such as:

General housekeeping and making beds

Cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors

Washing, folding and ironing laundry

Meal preparation and grocery shopping.

You will also be providing our aged care clients with personal care services such as:

Getting clients out of bed, showered and dressed for the day

Assisting clients to take their medications

Assisting with mobility and therapy goals

Providing complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia

Providing social and emotional support

Providing the client with transport to lifestyle activities or appointments

Helping the family carer to have a break or an opportunity to do other things.
