Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a
Highways & Bridges Planning Manager
based in Abu Dhabi.
The Planning Manager will oversee and lead the planning and scheduling of highways and bridges projects to ensure timely and efficient execution.
Responsibilities
include working with engineering teams, coordinating project requirements, managing project timelines, liaising with clients, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and preparing detailed reports on project progress.
Qualifications
- **15 + years experience in Infrastructure projects in consultancy companies.**
- Proficiency in project planning, scheduling, and monitoring for
- infrastructure (highway and bridge) projects
- Strong background in transportation engineering and infrastructure project management
- Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills to coordinate with various stakeholders
- Proficiency in planning software tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project
- Proven experience in leading and managing teams of engineers and planners
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; advanced certifications in project management or transportation planning are a plus
- **Previous experience working in Abu Dhabi or the UAE and knowledge of local regulations is mandatory**
