We are seeking a passionate and dedicated High School English Teacher on behalf of our client, a prestigious international school located in Doha, Qatar .
This is a full-time position offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced educator to inspire and motivate students in a dynamic and supportive learning environment.
The ideal candidate will have a profound understanding of the English curriculum and a commitment to fostering a love for literature and language among secondary school students.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching that encourages intellectual curiosity and critical thinking.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging English lessons that are aligned with the curriculum standards.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and promotes a high standard of behaviour.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
- Develop and adapt teaching materials to meet the diverse needs of all learners.
- Prepare students for internal and external examinations, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills.
- Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and senior leadership regarding student progress and well-being.
- Participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher evenings, and whole-school training events.
- Contribute to the wider school community by participating in extracurricular activities.
