Overview

Key Responsibilities

• **Receiving & Unloading:** Receive incoming shipments, unload trucks and containers manually or with pallet jacks/forklifts, and verify quantities and conditions against delivery notes.
• **Inventory Storage:** Label, sort, and store stock in designated locations; maintain accurate inventory records and update warehouse management systems (WMS) or logs.
• **Order Picking & Packing:** Pick products according to order sheets or system instructions; pack items securely for dispatch, ensuring correct labels and documentation.
• **Loading & Dispatch:** Load outbound vehicles safely and efficiently; verify dispatch paperwork and ensure timely shipment of orders.
• **Stock Control:** Conduct regular cycle counts and physical stock checks; report discrepancies, damages, or expired items to the Warehouse Supervisor.
• **Housekeeping & Safety:** Keep aisles, shelves, and work areas clean and organised; follow all health, safety, and hygiene protocols; report hazards immediately.
• **Equipment Operation:** Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and trolleys; forklift licence is a plus.
• **Team Support:** Assist other warehouse staff and departments during peak periods or special projects as directed by the supervisor.
• **ducation:** High school diploma or equivalent preferred; not always mandatory.
• **Experience:** 0–2 years of warehouse, logistics, or manual labour experience; fresh candidates with strong work ethic are welcome.
• **Physical Fitness:** Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 10–20 kg), stand for extended periods, and work in varying temperatures.
