To assist technicians, fitters, and supervisors in carrying out installation, maintenance, and emergency repair works for fire fighting systems, fire alarm systems, and related life safety equipment, ensuring smooth workflow and compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, fixing, and alignment of fire fighting pipes, sprinklers, valves, and fittings.
- Support technicians in wiring, conduit laying, and device fixing for fire alarm systems.
- Carry tools, materials, and equipment to the work location and ensure they are in proper condition.
- Perform basic tasks such as cutting, drilling, cleaning, and sealing under supervision.
- Help during testing and commissioning of fire fighting and fire alarm systems.
- Provide support in emergency repair works, including dismantling and re-assembly of system parts.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety at the workplace by clearing debris and storing materials properly.
- Follow instructions given by supervisors and senior technicians.
- Adhere to company safety rules and wear proper PPE during all activities.
