About This Role
Job Summary
We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Helper / Driver Assistant to support the delivery driver in loading, unloading, and delivering foodstuff items safely and efficiently to customers and company locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the driver in loading and unloading foodstuff items from the vehicle.
- Ensure proper handling of products to avoid damage during transportation.
- Help in arranging and stacking items inside the delivery vehicle.
- Support timely delivery of goods to customers, restaurants, supermarkets, and warehouses.
- Verify delivery items against invoices or delivery notes.
- Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle and storage areas.
- Assist in checking product quantities during dispatch and delivery.
- Follow company hygiene, safety, and food handling procedures.
- Help the driver with route deliveries and customer coordination when required.
- Report damaged or missing items to the supervisor immediately.
- Perform other warehouse or delivery-related duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- Physically fit and able to lift items.
- Basic understanding of loading and unloading procedures.
- Ability to work long hours when required.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Previous experience in foodstuff delivery or warehouse work will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of hygiene and safety standards is preferred.
Working Conditions
- Outdoor and warehouse work environment.
- May require lifting, carrying, and moving heavy cartons and food products.
- Flexible working hours depending on delivery schedules.
- Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
