Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site IT Support Specialist role based in our Dublin, Ohio office (Columbus metro).

You'll own the inbound help desk queue — configuring desktops, troubleshooting issues, and supporting users across our store network — and during slower stretches you'll take on Windows sysadmin work: managing backups, building and imaging new systems, power/UPS management, and general infrastructure upkeep.

We run lean and move fast.

Some issues don't keep business hours, so this role occasionally involves off-hours work (nights or weekends) when something is down or a deployment can't wait.

Qualifications

  • Local to the Columbus, Ohio area (on-site role)
  • Strong help desk and technical support background
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Hands-on desktop hardware/software experience
  • Comfortable with Windows administration (backups, imaging, system builds)
  • Must communicate clearly and professionally with store staff and customers over the phone, including explaining technical issues to non-technical users.
  • Strong command of spoken and written English, with the ability to be clearly understood in fast-paced phone support.
  • Willingness to be available occasionally outside normal hours during outages or critical work - Weekend On-Call Rotation.

  • Windows Server / Active Directory experience
  • Microsoft 365 / Intune / Azure AD administration
  • Networking fundamentals (UniFi a plus)
  • PowerShell scripting
  • Backup/recovery experience (Veeam a plus)
  • Retail or POS environment experience
  • Relevant IT certifications (CompTIA A+/Network+, Microsoft) or a related degree
