Helicopter Instructor Pilot

Selected candidates will have the opportunity to earn qualification in the MD530F helicopter while serving as a Rotary Wing Instructor Pilot.

Conduct Initial Entry Rotary Wing (IERW) training, Aircraft Qualification Course (AQC) training, Instructor Pilot Course (IPC) training, continuation training, and evaluation of customer students and pilots in accordance with approved Saudi Arabian Ministry of National Guard publications.

In this role, instructors contribute directly to the development of military aviators through structured flight instruction, evaluation, and academic mentorship within a professional training environment.

Flight instruction duties include contact training, basic instrument training, advanced maneuver training, and initial NVG qualification as required by the training program.

Flight evaluation duties include APART, PFE, and progression evaluations under Day, Night, Hood, and NVG conditions in accordance with government-approved standards.

Academic instruction may include, but is not limited to, any combination of Individual or Group instruction in a classroom environment and or simulator on basic ground school topics, including aerodynamics, aeromedical, navigation, aircraft systems, crew coordination, basic instruments, and night/NVG.

Responsible for maintaining Individual Gradebook Folders and Individual Aircrew Training Folders (IATF) and completing required training, currency, and readiness entries.
