About This Role
Overview
- We are seeking a reliable and motivated Driver to join our FMCG team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely while ensuring timely delivery to our customers and retailers
- Efficiently load and unload products, ensuring safe handling and proper storage.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies regarding safety, vehicle operation, and delivery protocols.
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport FMCG products to designated locations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, ensuring it is clean, fueled, and in good working condition. Report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Adhere to assigned delivery schedules and routes while managing time effectively.
- Maintain accurate delivery records, including invoices, delivery receipts, and inventory counts. Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner.
- Valid driver's license (Qatar) with a clean driving record
- Previous driving experience in the FMCG sector or similar industries preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physically demanding tasks.
