Heavy-Duty Diesel Technician

Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of Hydrovac trucks, semi-trucks, and half-ton trucks in accordance with manufacturer specifications.

This role requires strong mechanical expertise, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Hydrovac experience preferred; semi-truck experience required.

• Accurately interpret work orders, service manuals, and technical diagrams.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical system failures.
• Ensure full compliance with DOT, MSA, and OSHA regulations.
• Document all work performed using established procedures and maintenance systems.
• Communicate additional repair needs to the Fleet Manager.
• Train, mentor, and assist other technicians as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
• Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy-duty construction equipment, Hydrovac/Vacuum trucks, or fleet repair (preferred).
• Must maintain an approved MVR; Class A or B CDL preferred but not required.
• Must provide personal hand tools required to perform the job.

• Must be able to work in indoor/outdoor environments, including extreme weather.
• Exposure to loud noise, heavy equipment, and industrial conditions.

• Ability to repeatedly sit, lift, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, reach, and crawl.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs multiple times throughout the workday.

• Pay Range: $35.00 – $45.00/hour DOE
